Upcoming events can be local, regional, or national book-signing events, speaking opportunities, conferences, workshops, or anything that writers might be interested in. Some of the big book-signing events start taking applications months in advance, and often run out of room long before the event occurs. It pays to get in early if you’re interested in selling your books there. Some have long waiting lists.
