Meet J & M Alcock… 

“J”, or Joe, is a retired project engineer and pre-launch operations manager for the Atlas III and Atlas V launch vehicles for Pratt & Whitney Rocketdyne, a division of United Technologies. His extensive knowledge and experience  have uniquely qualified him to author three fascinating books on aerospace history as Joseph F. Alcock.   

“M,” or Marilyn, who retired from the insurance industry where she discovered her writing talent, is the author of a series of three books about her late Boston Terrier, Tuxedo, and his pack. Scout, the newest addition to the family, also has a book of his own.  Her books are listed under Marilyn J. Alcock.

Married in 2014, Marilyn and Joe live in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida, where the two have joined their lives, talents, interests, and imaginations to write books together. 

Their co-authored book, The Sea Rogue, is the story of Captain Samuel Burgess, who sailed with the notorious Captain Kidd. Listed as Historical Fiction, The Sea Rogue: Captain Samuel Burgess is based on the true story of a man who sought his fortune to win the woman he loved. You won’t be able to put it down.

Together Marilyn and Joe have six children and thirteen grandchildren. 

Their combined love of travel has taken them to Australia, New Zealand, Eastern Caribbean, Western Caribbean, France, and many National Parks in the USA.
