In this third book in the series about the life of Tuxedo, the author’s beloved Boston Terrier, and his pack of friends, Snickers, Bellino, Lulu, Bruno, and Allie, we also meet Charlie and Murphy. These two kitties arrived on Tux’s doorstep one evening and with some reluctance on the part of the pups, became part of the family. The escapades of the characters will  have you laughing out loud.

Excerpt: Snickers, Lulu, Bellino, and Allie were sleeping soundly. I heard faint footsteps and opened one eye. I saw Charlie and Murphy crouched close to the floor as they sneaked up on us. Before I could warn the others, the kitties leaped onto the bed where we were sleeping and screamed “Hi-yah!”

Lulu jumped up and almost fell off the bed. Bellino inhaled deeply and couldn’t catch his breath. Allie barked loudly protesting being awakened so rudely. Snickers took off and hid under the bed, again.

“Oh, you cats!” yelled Lulu. Bellino still couldn’t speak and was wheezing. Mom ran in to see what was going on.

“Let me rub your neck for you, Bellino. That will help you catch your breath,’ Mom said. ‘What happened to get you so worked up?”

If only I could tell you, maybe you could make the cats behave!
